Kaelin's Christening (4 October 2009)

On Sunday I had the privilege to photograph the christening of my cousin's little girl - Kaelin Rachel Botha.

This was the first time I ever professionaly photographed a christening and I am so grateful that I got this opportunity. It's very different from weddings where everyone knows there is bound to be a photographer and you kind of have "free reign" of the church (or so to speak)..

I just couldn't resist taking a picture of Tian - Kaelin's cousin. He has THE most beautiful eyes ;) I would love to photograph this little guy sometime!

Michael a.k.a. "Bulletjie"

I have always wanted to photograph Michael ;)

He is the grandson of one of my mom's closest friends but she always brings him to visit on the most unexpected days which made it hard for me to photograph him! Luckily, I had my camera with me the last time they visited us and he was wearing the cutest little hat which begged to be photographed, lol ;)

(I'm not too sure why they call him Bulletjie... maybe it's got something to do with my favourite rugby team. Haha!)

It's probably unfair of me to publish this one as his too young to protest but it's just so funny! Hahaha!! (for those who are confused: I took the shot as he released the ball and it spun backwards a bit)
